The business end of the season is approaching and the 1st & 2nd XI play one day games this weekend whilst the 3’s have the week off before resuming next weekend.
Needless to say the first half of the season has not gone to plan for the 1st XI. Languishing down the bottom of the ladder with just the single victory the boys will be looking to change things around to start 2014 and no better challenge than to come up against Donvale at their home ground.
The 2’s meanwhile have played solid cricket all season and sit 2nd with just the one loss in 2013/14. The aim for the team now is to secure a home final and give them the best chance at potential promotion. The squeeze will be on for spots in this side so all the boys will be keen to impress this weekend.
